Portuguese speaking countries united by tourism and friendship
The Angola Secretary of State for Tourism Varo Caputo recently stressed the travel and tourism sector’s role in strengthening the friendship and cooperation among the members of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP).
The State Secretary was speaking at the opening ceremony of the first “Workshop on CPLP Tourism”.
He said that with the holding of the meeting, the community intends to promote an open dialogue on tourism that can translate into tangible and viable projects.
According to the official, Angola has chosen the tourism sector as a priority in the course of diversification of the national economy.
