The Portuguese London-based design duo was invited to come up with a collection for TopShop by the brand’s creative director Kate Phelan.
In comments to Lusa News Agency Marta Marques, one half of Marques’Almeida, said the pair was given complete carte blanche in designing the collection.
Launched in 1964 Top Shop currently comprises 319 stores in the UK and 137 franchises around the world and is also the only high-street brand which showcases collection during London Fashion Week.
