Germans from ARA transfer to Seia, Portugal, the production of their best-seller shoe.
With technological investment of 3 million euros ARA is transferring their Munchen model production to Portugal.
The German multinational recently announced that its best-seller product would be “one of the main contributors to the production growth of the Portuguese manufacturing facility that is expected to surpass the 1 million pairs of shoes this year. Just the Munchen brand, the most sold line of shoes, is adding 172 thousand pairs.
With this investment the company is creating 50 new jobs (320 total) and is enabling the production of a wider range of models in the comfort shoes segment.
