British Embassy Promotes Partnerships on Cyber Security
The objective is to stimulate Portuguese companies investment in the UK and to promote partnerships with British organizations to jointly explore the Portuguese speaking markets.
Clive Jones, Assistant to the UK Trade and Investment Director for the area of cyber security highlights Brazil as the most sought after market.
Paulo Coimbra, trade and investment manager at UKTI, explains that British organizations mainly look for a partner that masters both business practices and communication in the Portuguese speaking countries.
Thus, this cooperation initiative intends to both open the British market and to position it as a springboard for expansion to other geographies. It entails the creation of companies in the UK, as a way to gaining additional credibility in the international markets and makes available support to deal with bureaucratic processes as well as consulting and market intelligence services.
